Service and photos is from within the Cart through the front window frame. O.P. is Fitted with a 2 door commercial bar fridge, 2 bench seats and a pop up centre roof. O.P. is pretty heavy so needs some manpower help to deal with setting up when slopes are involved.

What’s with the name O.P.? Our first Kombi Cart was created from the 1970 Volkswagen “Transform Physio” microbus that was destroyed in a fire. O.P. is the leader of the Kombi Carts, just like Optimus Prime is the leader of the autobots. O.P. transforms from a compact trailer with a removable draw bar, lifting roof, and pop up centre roof hatch for service.

What’s with the name Frieda? The name “Frieda” means “peace” and comes from German origins (just like Kombis). We named this little Kombi Cart as a tribute to the family history and former food truck business “frieda flammkuchen” of our friend Silke. Silke invited us to exhibit at AIME and we build “Frieda” just in time for the show!
